RECURSIVE FORMULAE FOR DROPLETS TRANSIENT HEATING AND EVAPORATION MODELS VIA A COMBINED METHOD OF INTEGRAL TRANSFORMS

چکیده

The transient heating of a spherical droplet at rest in hot gas environment, is analysed when the temperature distribution initially assumed to be non uniform inside droplet. A combined method integral transforms, namely classical Fourier cosine transform together with unilateral Laplace transform, used solving resulting initial-boundary value problem, stated dimensionless form. Explicit solutions problem are first obtained domain, and then analytical approximations short time limits (timessteps) derived for internal surface fields. approximation during step proven highly accurate, while innovative recursive formula may lead computationally efficient droplets sprays vaporization models.
